TWO AND HALF MONTHS

Where does the time go??? Brennen is already 2 1/2 months old. At his 2 month check up he was 26 inches long and 14pounds. He is getting so big. He is the 97 percentile for height. I think he is going to be a tall boy. He is such a wonderful baby. We are so grateful for our bundle of joy.  Brennen is a wonderful baby. He hardly ever cries unless he is hungary. He sleeps really good for the most part. He sleeps for about 6 to 9 hours every night. I am very well rested. Sometimes I go and make sure he is okay if he hasn't gotten up.

These past 10 weeks have flown by so fast. Brennen started out at 7 pounds and has already doubled his birth weight. He has grown 5 inches and kicks and plays all the time. He loves to suck on his hands.  He still has his hair, everyone said he was going to lose all his hair but they were wrong. I am so grateful for each day I get to spend with him.  he laughs and talks all the time. He has brought so much happieness to our family.

Well 3 weeks ago I went back to work. First day was a little rough but after that its been pretty good.  Brennen is in good hands with my Mom, Dad and sisters watching him. He loves hanging out with his Grandma, Grandpa and aunts. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to go to work and have my family watch my precious boy.  I love my job. Best job ever. I have the best boss and love my coworkers. Even though all of us are girls besides the Doctors, there is no drama. I love it.

What else is new with the Moore family?? Well, we got to take Christmas pictures which was fun. I love taking pictures especially since we have a cute baby boy to complete our family. Marv is in the process of applying to Pharmacy school. He has sent in his application and now we are just waiting to hear back. Hopefully we get in so we can start a new chapter in our life.

BRENNEN - 2 MONTHS

Time flies by so fast being a mommy. One day You have a baby and next day he is two months old.  

Size: Diapers-2 He is 14 pounds. 26inches   Clothes- some 0-3 months, and 3 months

Eyes: His eyes get bluer and bluer every day. He is such a cute baby

Hair: He still has all his hair. Its so funny - The back of his hair is long and brown, the top of his head has blonde/ strawberry blonde hair and the front of his head has bleach blonde hair. So I guess we will see what color his hair is going to be. 

Sleeping: He is sleeping so good. He sleeps for about 6 - 9 hours!! It is so amazing. I am so blessed to have a good sleeper. 

Eating: He eats about every 3- 4 hours. I nurse Brennen so I am not sure how much he is eating. Probably 3 to 5 ounces.

Milestones: 

• He talks to us all the time. He will go hours without talking at all and than all of the sudden he talks a ton and it is so cute

• He is holding his head up even better. He is getting so strong.
• He is constantly smiling and laughing at me and Marv.  Its so funny he will laugh when we laugh and just keep laughing. We love it so much. 
• He loves playing on the ground with his little jungle gym. He hits the toys with his feet and his hands. Doesn't grab anything yet.
• he love love loves to snuggle with mommy and daddy. I love this so much
• He had his first Thanksgiving. He loves all the attention he gets from everyone. 
• Brennen was blessed on Novemeber 4th by Marv (DAD) in our Ward. 

Favorite toys/activities:

•  Brennen loves to play with his sock monkey, more like he loves us playing with him with it. He loves his monkey it makes him laugh so hard. 
• He loves to play in his jungle gym and listen to music
• He loves sitting on my lap while I am on the computer. He will start to get angry if I turn him away from the computer. 
• He loves to watch TV. Just sit him on our lap and he is happy. 

Nicknames: Monkey, Buddy, cutie pie, BIG BRENNEN BOY, etc.

Funny moments:

• He loves his swing. He could be so tired that he can't go to sleep and he gets in his swing and in just a few moments he is out. Its so funny. 
• He peed out his diaper and totally started laughing when it got all over me. Hes a little stinker. 

Looking forward to: His first  Christmas

Marv and Cassie Update:

 Marv is a plumber and works full time.  He is super busy with work right now. He is applying to pharmacy schools and going to be taking some classes next semester. He is currently reading books by Rick Rioran. He loves reading. If you ever have a good suggestion let him know. Marv was able to give Brennen his baby Blessing. Such a neat experience for him to be able to bless our little baby boy.  It was so neat. 

I did my first MUD RUN!!!!!  IT was so much fun.  I did it with My sister in law  Tanya and my best friend Missy . WE had so much fun. There was probably at least 20 different obstacles. Any where from sliding down a huge water slide into a bunch of mud to climbing walls and crawling under wire. The only downer was that it was still hot outside. Our mistake was wearing all black. We also went black friday shopping which was super fun. We got some cool toys for Brennen and for ourselves. I just finished reading the Percy Jackson series and I loved it!!! It was such a good read. Also, I read Divergent and Insurgent which are really good books, futuristic society type of thing. I am currently reading The Hobbit which I am very excited for the new movie coming out soon. I also fell in love with the tv shows Revenge, Once upon a time, Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries.  I have been a Pretty Little Liars fan since season one and can't wait to see what happens next.
