Brennen is 4 Months Old

Where Does the time go??? I have been asking myself that the past year. My little guy is already 4 months old. It is so exciting. We have had a great start of a new year.

SIZE As of today Brennen weighs 16.2 pounds and is 75 percentile for weight and 27 inches long and in the 95th percentile for height. We are going to have a tall kid. :)
Clothes: He wears 3-6 months trying to get good use out of them and also some 6 month clothes.
Diapers: He is still in size 2 Diapers. He leaks out of them alot but I tried bigger ones and they were too big. So size 2 it is for now.

Eyes: His eyes are bright deep blue. Pretty much the best eyes ever.

Hair: Brennen has lots of hair, it's just really blonde now so it doesn't look like he has much. It finally turned blonde. Woohoo. Going to have a blonde haired blue eyed baby :)

Sleeping: Brennen is a great sleeper. Like seriously the bestest. He sleeps anywhere from 8 to 12 hours every night. He loves his sleep. He also takes lots of naps during the day. From like 30 minutes to 2 hours. I love my little guy.

Eating: He is still nursing so he eats every 3 to 4 hours depending on what we are doing. if we are playing and having fun he goes longer without eating. But when he is just hanging out doing nothing he realizes hes hungary sooner.

Milestones:

He started rolling over at 3 1/2 months and rolls over all the time. Everytime he is on the ground he is rolling. Its so cute.

Brennen loves to talk to me and anyone else who will talk to him. He has done this for at least a month. But if you start talking to him he will just keep chatting away. He gets so excited too.
He loves to imitate others. If you do something he loves to try and copy what your doing.
He is so alert. I love it, he is always looking around and staring at things. He has been like that since he was born.
He loves to put everything in his mouth and I mean everything... His hands sometimes even both, my hands, all his toys. Everything goes in that mouth.
He started using a binki because I don't want him sucking his finger. He is starting to like it so that is good.
Every morning when its time to wake up I go in and check on him and he's just playing by himself. it is so funny. I can't let him see me so I can go to the bathroom and eat something. If we make eye contact with eachother and I don't come get him than his happy face turns into a why aren't you getting me out of this crib face. Priceless.

Favorite toys/activities:

He loves his hands. Those are always in his mouth.

He is getting used to teething rings. I got a few different kind of teething rings. one is a nubby with some brissles on it, another one is one of those circles. and the last one is a hand. He hasn't taken to one better than the other yet. So we will see which one he favors

He loves his little playground He plays with it all the time.He loves looking at himself in the mirror. So preicous.

Nicknames: Goose, BAM BAM, Ironfists ( his super hero name), cute boy. Those are basically the ones we us.

4 Months Old

Other Moore News:

We decided to stay here for school and go to midwestern. YEAH!!!! WE are really excited with this decision because now we get to stay here where a lot of our friends and family are. It will be great.

Being a mom is so rewarding. I love coming home to Brennen. He just loves us so much he is a perfect little baby. He just makes me so happy. He is such a snuggle bug too. Hope he stays that way.

SO... Elise has her twin babies now and Jenn is home from her mission. YEAH!!!!

3 1/2 Months Old

So Brennen Is growing up so fast. These past few weeks I have seen a huge difference. He just grows constantly. So he is 15 weeks old and he figured out that not only can he suck on his hand, but he can get his thumb in his mouth and suck on it. So He has been sucking his thumb constantly. It is soo cute.
He just got over Broncitus. He had it for about 2 weeks. Poor Brennen I felt so bad for him. He has been such a good boy through it all. He hasn't been grumpy or anything. Especially since he has to do breathing treatments. WE are so lucky to have such a wonderful baby. Brennen rolled over for the first time this week. How it happened? I was at work and Marv was watching Brennen. He was playing video games while Brennen played on the floor. and Brennen roled over. Woohooo!!! We didn't even get to see it. Hopefully he does it again soon. Brennen has been a chatter box. He talks constantly. He is a talker. Other Moore news....

Marv has recieved 7 interviews so far and his first interview was on Monday with Glendale Midwestern and He got a call the next day and guess what??? Marv got into Pharmacy school!!! Woohoo!!!! We are so excited that we will be going to pharmacy school this year. :)

3 Months Old

I Can't Believe Brennen is already 3 months old. He is such a great Baby. I am so very blessed. He fills our lives with so much joy and happiness. Well This past month has been fun. Brennen got to enjoy his very first Christmas. He loved it. He got so many cool toys. Grandma and Grandpa (The Johnson's) got him a basketball hoop with iinteractive learning and a ton of clothes. His Great Grandma and Great Grandpa (Student's) got him a fire truck and tons of clothes and toys. His GrandDad and Nana ( The Moore's) got him a walker and clothes. He was so spoiled. Marv and I got Brennen some clothes, a big boy basketball hoop, and walker that he pushes or pulls and some toys. Christmas was fun with alittle guy. Can't wait till next year when he gets Christmas alittle more.

Well Brennen Update: He finally got over his Thrush. Thank goodness. He has had it for over a month. He is on breathing treatments because he got Broncitus. Even though he coughs and is congested with a runny nose he is the happiest baby ever. I love our little guy so much. He is so much fun. He loves to suck on his fingers. He just recently started putting his thumb in his mouth and sucking. I tried giving him a binki a few time but he just spit it out.

Size: Diapers-2 He is 15 pounds. Don't know how long, find out at 4 months. Last time he was 26 inches long. Clothes- 3months and 3-6 months.

Eyes: His eyes get bluer and bluer every day. He is such a cute baby

Hair: He still has all his hair. Its so funny - The back of his hair is long and brown, the top of his head has blonde/ strawberry blonde hair and the front of his head has bleach blonde hair. So I guess we will see what color his hair is going to be.

Sleeping: He is sleeping so good. He sleeps for about 8- 10 hours

Eating: He eats about every 3- 4 hours. I nurse Brennen so I am not sure how much he is eating. But he is super fast. It used to take him like an hour to nurse. Now it takes only 10 minutes.

Milestones:

Funny moments:

He will be talking to himself and as soon as I come in with the video camera he stops talking and just stares at me. I'll leave and he will start talking again. so funny.
He will let off a big fart, not just alittle one but a grown man fart. Some times I think its Marv and he's just blaming it on Brennen. But Brennen knows when he is doing a big one and he will stare and start laughing. Key moment.
He figuredout he has fingers attached to his hands and loves his fingers.

Looking forward to: Brennen rolling over and eating big boy food

Marv and Cassie Update:

Marv has been asked to interview at 6 schools now. Midwestern AZ - January 7th as in tomorrow, he is super excited but nervous at the same time. I think he will do great. Midwestern Illinios - January 11th, Oklahoma - January 19th, Hawaii ( in Las Vegas) Feb 1st, Roseman ( Utah) Feb 7th, Nevada Feb 14th. We are so very blessed that Marv has the opportunity to get all of these interviews. We applied to ten schools and have 6 interviews so far. He must being doing something awsome. WE can't wait to get into a school and find out where we will be living in 2013. Pharmacy school is 4 years so we could be going anywhere for the next few years of our lives. So Crazy.

Cassie has just been working and hanging out with brennen. Trying to get on a workout/ eating plan to loose this baby weight. No one told me it was going to be this hard to loose the baby weight. Oh well, it will come off eventually I hope. Other than that I just like to read and hang out with my husband, brennen and my super awsome sisters. Also one of my best friends just returned from her mission. Jenn Jones. So that has been fun as well to see her. I love hanging out with my girlfriends. My bestie Elise is about to have twins so that will be awsome as well. Well, that's the Moore Update for now. :)

OH and over Christmas Break my best friend from Idaho came down and we got to hang out a few times. Taylor, Chris and Dax. WE had so much fun. hopefull marv gets an interview in Idaho so we can go see our friends and have some fun!!!!! :)
