This Moore Family

Lets see... I love the idea of blogging, but am not the best about doing it. So... I am going to try to be better with the new year approaching. My boys have grown up so much! They are so big with their own personalities.  Brennen is my 3 year old and his latest thing is not sleeping all the way through the night. We got him that OK to wake Owl and it worked for the first week and he got up one night and came to me with a bloody lip that has taken 2 weeks to heal and its finally almost healed. And than yesterday he got up and came to me with lots of blood in his mouth. This time he bit his tongue.  What can I do with this kid to keep him in bed.... Being a parent is so hard and so rewarding. Besides him getting hurt every week and giving me scares he is such a good boy.  He doesn't listen the best but isn't that 3 year olds? I hope so... He is super sweet and loves to give people hugs and kisses. He loves making bridges and watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He loves going to Joyschool and loves playing with his best friend Krew. Landen and Brennen get along so well too. They could play for hours together and just be laughing and having fun.  Brennen loves babies too. He asks me Mommy can I have a baby... He cracks me up.

Landen is my 1 year old and he is so funny.  He is always happy and smiling and loves life. He loves loves loves his big brother and always copies him.  They are seriously best friedns.  Landen loves food and will eat almost everything. He walks and has 16 teeth. He says a few words.  He is such a great little brother. I am so very thankful for these two wonderful boys have I been blessed with.

Next week is Thanksgiving isn't it such a wonderful time of year?  We get to truly express what we are thankful for.. our family, our friends, healthy bodies, homes to live in, food to eat, a wonderful country, a Living Prophet and Apostles, education, jobs, a wonderful true church the one and only Church of Jesus Christ, for missionaries, for a loving Heavenly Father that watches after his children. We have so much to be thankful!

This time of year is my favorite, for a few months we get to wear sweaters, drink hot cocoa, roast marshmellows, have a bond fire, enjoy being cold ( or at least in AZ). And now that I have kids its so much more magical. My kids especially Brennen is so excited for Christmas and the holiday season. So I will have to come up with something for for the kids to do.

Last weekend we went to Anthem Outlets and the had Elsa and Anna from Frozen.  They sung to the kids, they had a movie the Grinch on and alittle snow too. It was so much fun for the kiddos and the best part.... It was free, and we got to go with our Best friends the Haddens. We are going to look for more fun things to do with the kiddos.

Well, thanks for listening to me ramble on.. I got to get back in the habbit of Blogging.

Life as of Latley

So... I am not very good at blogging. I wish I was. Life has been full of surprises and so much fun. My boys are now 2 1/2 and 10 months. Brennen is interested in the potty but doesn't really wanna potty train. uggg. He is such a good boy though and a great helper. He still takes one nap a day that I am holding on to for dear life. I love nap time. Put both boys down and half the time I either take a nap or veg out on Netflix. Other times I try to be productive. My kids normally go down for the night between 6:30 and 8. Just depending on the days activities. I really wanna be more structured but it doesn't always happen. Landen is 10 months old as of 2 days ago. He army crawls everywhere. He is so fast. He stands up and can  go from laying down to sitting up all by himself. He is a busy bee. He likes to do whatever his older brother is doing. I love this little boy. I love both my boys. They are my everything. The good times make the hard times bearable.

I have had lots of family and friends as of lately where I can see there trials they are going through and they are tough. We are all fighting our own battles some can be seen and some can be unseen. As we fight these battles we need to remember to always look up. He will help us through them. We can pray for help, we can pray for light and truth and happiness. Sometimes when your going through a trial its hard to see the "Eternal perspective" but its there. Sometimes we like to think, " Why me? What have I done to deserve this? Why am I being punished? What did I do?" Heavenly Father likes to bring us to our knees to ask for help. He is not being cruel or mean, he knows our potential and he wants us to know what we can do.  With him ALL things are possible.  Heavenly Father will NEVER try us more than we can handle. When our trials get tough, he is there to lift us and guide us. Remember he knows us better than we know ourselves. He is the creator of all things. He is in control of everything. He will not leave us. If we have righteous desires he will help us. Heavenly Fathers timing is perfect. Sometimes we get so caught up in the RIGHT NOW and we don't remember to stop and thing of our future. I am totally guilty of this. As humans we want satisfaction right now and the Lord does not always work that way. He likes to bend and break us to make us better than we ever thought possible. I have a strong testimony of this work. I know that this is the true church. Without a doubt in my mind this gospel is real. This gospel leads to eternal life.  This mortal stage we are living in is only temporary. We are here to be tested and tried and tested and tried some more. Life is not going to be easy but it will be worth it. We will reach our eternal reward someday.  This life may not be what you expect it to be but if we go through our trials and don't doubt on the Lords strength I know that our kingdom in Heaven is going to be amazing. We will have all that we ever need. I know that a 14 year old boy ask God the father what church he should join. And the answer to this boy was none of them. He will answer our prayers if we earnestly seek the Lord! He will help us! I know this, Nothing is too small or too big for the Lord. If it is a righteous desire he will help us. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet that restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth today. I know that Jesus is my Savior. He died for each and everyone of us so that we can be cleaned of our sins.  I know that he cares about each and everyone of us. We can find joy and happiness in him.  Look for the tiny miracles each day. Christ is in all things. Choose to be happy, Choose to have joy.  I once heard from a Young Women leader when I was a miamaid that really helped me through a tough time was this " Fake it till you make it" She said she used to not be happy all the time, but she decided to be happier and so she faked it every day she faked her happiness and guess what? She became happy. She was so used to faking it that it became her. She always smiled at everyone and found the positive in things. So I did this. I chose to be happy even in tough situations and it worked! I became a happier person. Christ wants us to be happy. He wants us to help others to find happiness. We can choose to be happy or choose to be sad. Its a lot easier to be happy than sad. BE KIND. There is so many horrible things out in the world today be kind to others, serve others. Do it until you love it and than do it some more.
I have a strong but simple testimony. This church is true. I know it, I live it, and I love it. Amen.

WE have a BABY!!!!

2 kids. What just happened? I feel like just yesterday we were getting married and now we have 2 handsome boys. I had Landen on August 11th 2014 at 3:51pm. He was 8 pounds 10 ounces and 22.5 inches long. Big boy. His due Date was August 15th but I was able to get induced a few days earlier. It was such a wonderful experience.I went into the hospital at 7am, started on Pitocin at 8 am and my water broke on its own at 10:50am. Then they  started my epidural at 11am but were having a hard time getting it in my back. It took 4 tries and 30 to 40 minutes later It was in and I wasn't feeling a thing. This Labor was such a great experience. At 1 pm my nurse checked me and I was dialated to a 7 and at 3pm she checked me again and the babies head was crowning. So she called Dr. Erickson and Bam he got there and with 2 pushes he was almost out. I started laughing and the Dr. said laugh some more. So I did and guess what? Our baby boy came out. Aww. HE is so precious. Marv got to cut the ambilical cord and Krystal got to see what having a baby looks like. Baby was fine. We didn't decide on a name till 8pm and thats when we decided on Landen Scott Moore. We were so lucky. We only had to stay in the hospital monday and tuesday. It was amazing. We got to bring our little guy home and be at peace. Landen isn't very good at sleeping at night but he sleeps allday long. We have had lots of visitors and it has been fun. Landen is in the 92% for height. We took him out to run errans just a few days after getting home. We don't like to stay home. We are crazy.

Now Landen is 2 1/2 weeks old. He is already 9 pounds 6 ounces. He is getting huge. He never really has fit into his newborn clothes cause he is so big. HE has a ton of hair and he looks just like Brennen did when he was a baby. I have been taking the kids to church already and running errands and going to the park with our friends.  I thought I was being a good mom. But yesterday my kiddos woke up and they both have runny noses. Landen can't really sleep cause he can't breath and Brennen started coughing. I guess I need to listen when everyone else keeps there new baby in the house for 6 weeks. I defienetly need to be better and keep my kids away from all the sicknesses.  I am not getting much sleep, Landen wakes up every hour to 2 hours for feedings so doesn't give me much time to sleep.  But hopefully in a few weeks he will start sleeping again.

The Moore family is loving having a new addition.  Landen is so precious and I love him so much.  He is so small and so sweet. He is already in size 1 diapers. He started those about a week ago. Marv just started his 2nd quarter in his 2nd year of pharmacy school at midwestern. We both have callings right now.  I am a leader over the cub scouts and 11 year olds.  I work with the boys on completing their faith in God. Marv is assistant scout master so he works with the deacons. We are loving our callings and loving all of our new friends in our new ward.

Pitch turned one this month. His birthday is August 26th.  He shares a birthday with Mariah.  Nothing much new is going on over here.  We haven't really done much lately. Just hanging out.  Landen is starting to hold his head up on his own.He likes to take a Binki some times. He loves the swing. Brennen is gettiing used to him. Its been anadjustment but he is learning.
