Brennen- 1 MONTH!

I am so bad about blogging. I go forever without blogging and than blog a ton in one day. I guess thats what you do when your a mom. You get super busy and when you have time thats when you fit all your you time in. 

Size: Diapers-1 He is 12 pounds. 22inches   Clothes-0-3 months

Eyes: His eyes are super blue. Just like mommy and daddy
Hair: He still has all his hair
Sleeping: He wakes up every 2 to 3 hours to eat. Goes to bed between 9 and 10pm. wakes up whenever he feels like it.
Eating: He eats about every 3 hours. I nurse Brennen so I am not sure how much he is eating. Probably 3 to 5 ounces.
Milestones: 

• He looks around the room.

• can  hold his head up pretty good.
• smiles a little bit
• such a happy baby
• moved from bassinet to cribb
• loves his cribb and sleeps better

Favorite toys/activities:

•  Brennen loves to be played with
• Doesn't have a favorite toy right now. They actually scare him, he has this duck that sings and we tried playing it with him and he started crying. Sad day. 
• likes to be sitting on mommy or daddy's lap. 

Nicknames: Monkey, Buddy, cutie pie, BIG BRENNEN BOY, etc.
Funny moments:

• When he gets so tired but can't fall asleep he gets really cranky and starts crying until he falls asleep.
• When he nurses he makes the funiest faces

Looking forward to: His first Thanksgiving and Christmas


Marv and Cassie Update:

 Marv is a plumber and works full time.  He is super busy with work right now. He is applying to pharmacy schools and going to be taking some classes next semester.

I am going to be doing my first mud run after thanksgiving.  My sister in law  Tanya and my best friend Missy will be joining me in the fun. We are very excited about it. I ran cross country in high school but a mud run!!! This will be very exciting. I am going to be going back to work around Thanksgiving and hopefully it will be good. Kind of scared that I will ball my eyes out. I am trying to get rid of this baby weight. we will see how long it takes. woohoo!!! Babies are totally worth it. I love being a mommy!!! 

Home from the Hospital

Life with a baby is a blessing. Ya, it has been a change of routine now, but little Brennen is totally worth it. I love this little guy so much. He is so good and such a wonderful baby. Our family is so very blessed to have little Brennen in our life. We love being parents, I love being a mom and Marv is such a wonderful Father. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful son.

We have had so many visitors come andvisit little Brennen, it has been so much fun. Besides the visitors we also had people from our church bring us dinner for an entire week. What a blessing that has been especially since I didn't feel like cooking coming home from the hospital. Our family is doing great and I feel like I am finally getting the hang of this whole mom deal. :)

WE Have a Baby!!!!

So... It took 40 weeks and 5 days, 25 hours of labor to get our handsome baby boy. WE are so very excited to have our son. He was born on September 26th and weighed 7 pounds and was 21 inches long. He is so special. WE love our little boy. We named him Brennen Allen. He is so cute. WE had him on a Wednesday at 5:51pm. He is such an awsome baby. He sleeps and plays with us and hardly ever whines. He is a special spirit in our home. We are so grateful for the opportunity to become parents. I love being a mom and Marv loves being a dad. So.. Here is Baby Brennen.

Birthdays???

So Marv's Birthday was in the month of September and he turned the big 28 woohoo!!!! I made a special birthday breakfast and dinner for him and we hung out and did everything he wanted to do. it was a blast. HE got everything he wanted for his birthday. Talk about alittle spoiled. HE got some new seat covers for his Bronco, new fishing reals, a pole for his lantern, camo for hunting and some books. It was a great birthday. We enjoyed it. Than my birthday was in October and Marv decided to spoil me for my 22nd birthday. Can you guess what he got me? A Glock. it is amazing. i can't wait to take it out and shoot it. He also got me a book, Insurgent. It was a wonderful birthday. And I got to spend the birthday with our friends who took us out for dinner at Babbos. it was way fun. WE love our friends. :)
